brrrr.

alert! alert! in case you haven't seen us on the news, kentucky has been hit HARD by a ice/snow storm. so here i sit in a starbucks using the free wi-fi, not because i dont have power (like most of our city) but because i am accompanying a friend who is the victim of the power outage and in need of some www action. but despite all the damage that it has brought, this storm has afforded me some priceless moments which i could not have experienced otherwise. for instance, i had the joy of shoveling my entire driveway, being launched in the air after stepping on a deadly patch of ice, and (!) missing a day of work. two out of three aint bad i suppose... here are some pics and a video of the glorious catastrophe that is actually really beautiful. the ice-covered trees and white blanket over everything makes for a fantastical winter wonderland. but im ready for some heat.
