and here it is, the reason why there has not been a recent post from me and why my friends have possibly forgotten what i look like: the 2008 SENIOR ART SHOW.
i am a senior and an art major, therefore my life has recently been overtaken by completing tasks which will ensure that i get out of this establishment of higher education, a.k.a. i LIVE in the art building. but it hasn't been so bad since i actually enjoy creating my works and enjoy the company of my fellow art majors--even at all hours of the night/morning...sitting in a computer lab/drawing room/sculpture lab/gallery, etc.
this upcoming thursday (the 17th) is when it will all go down. that's right, a culmination of 4 years of "training" and "learning" (at least that's what they tell us) will give rise to "G-Spot," the designated "controversial and "attention-getting" title of our show.
there will be a wide array of themes, styles, mediums to indulge in, so i highly recommend stopping by. the opening (with FREE FOOD and artists present) will be on Thursday from 5-7, but the show will be up until April 27th in the Anne Wright Wilson Fine Arts Gallery located on College St. in Georgetown, KY.
come support us...Lord knows we are all gonna be starving artists on the streets when it's all over.
